Eleanor Earl is a film, television and media producer, writer, award-winning professor and classically trained vocalist who also has an aptitude for business. To that end, she is Founder and CEO of E. L. Earl Entertainment(ELEE), a film, television and music development and production company established with the assistance of her dearly departed parents. ELEE is a lasting testament to their unwavering commitment to, and investment in, her dreams.
Ms. Earl is pleased to join DOK International Media Network as President and Executive Director. She most recently served as VP of Strategic Partnerships of Whitfield Entertainment Group Studios (“WEG Studios”), based in Washington, D.C. (www.wegstudios.com) from 2021 to November 2023. She was also a founding partner and remains an executive producer of Rock N’Roll Rarities, along with her partners at WEG Studios, and the show’s creator Tony Fiorino and RJ Bucaria, Founder and CEO of Prolific Media Holdings(https://prolificmedia.co). The show aired on DirectTV’s Channel 104 in the U. S. and Canada in 2022 to 2023. It is hosted by television and rock n’ roll legend, Matt Pinfield (https://rocknrollrarities.tv ). WEG Studios was also the venue for NETFLIX's The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience (https://bridgertonexperience.com/washington/) and Mexican Geniuses: A Frida & Diego Immersive Experience (https://mexicangeniuses.com/washington-dc/ ) alongwith myriad, exciting and innovative film and television projects that were filmed on WEG Studios' soundstages.
Most recently, Ms. Earl, on behalf of E. L. Earl Entertainment(ELEE), brokered an exciting gaming partnership with an award-winning gaming start-up, Raxplay (www.raxplay.io), and Billboard charting band, ZupaNova (https://www.einpresswire.com/article/647339467/music-propels-gaming-into-space-with-launch-of-an-exclusive-fortnite-experience-known-as-zupaworld). ELEE has also partnered with ICARUS AI, an e-learning AI-driven features platform, and Mathew Knowles, a globally recognized leader in the fields of sales, marketing, brand development, entrepreneurship and leadership. With over $5 billion generated across multiple industries, over $100 million in sales and acquisitions, and the development, recording and distribution of some of culture's most notable careers such as Beyoncé, Destiny's Child, Earth, Wind & Fire, Solange and many more. Ms. Earl and Mathew Knowles, based upon Ms. Earl's efforts, have also been appointed as Advisors to ICARUS AI E- Learning. Prior to pursuing a myriad of explorations in the entertainment industry, Ms. Earl commenced teaching at the collegiate level at the age of 24. Years later, she became an Assistant Professor of English and Film Studies and Director of the Film Studies Program at Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia for over 12 years. She was also the Founding Director and Producer of The Hampton University Film Festival, which was funded by a grant she co-wrote and secured from the Mellon Foundation. She executive produced and directed a regional television show alongside the president of the university, Dr. William R. Harvey, for 10 years. Before this university appointment, she was an Adjunct Professor of Communication and Humanities at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA for 5 years. She taught Rhetorical Theory, Public Speaking and Humanities courses whilst simultaneously developing her company, E.L.Earl Entertainment.
In the world of entertainment, Ms. Earl has developed producing partnerships with many notable entertainment executives and creatives, to include Shomi Patwary, an award-winning director and co-founder of Illusive Media (www.illusivemedia.com), Darryl E. Ross, multi-platinum selling music producer and creative visionary(www.dokross.com) and many others. Ms. Earl joined Peace Industry Music Group/Roc Nation where she co-produced the first national tour for the sibling band Infinity Song (www.infinitysongmusic.com) which included founding member and sibling, Victory Boyd (www.victoryboyd.com), alongside their manager and executive producer of the tour, Mr. John D. Boyd, who is also their father and Founder and President of Peace Industry Music Group/Roc Nation. Ms. Earl is a producer with the company and assists in shopping projects for film, television and stage for the rising stars who recently went super viral with their song, Hater’s Anthem (https://nypost.com/2023/08/16/gen-z-reclaims-the-word-hater-in-viral-anti-woke-backlash/).
In the world of filmmaking, Ms. Earl produced the award-winning feature-length documentary, Searching for Shaniqua, which won the HBO Best Documentary Award at Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival and was screened at additional film festivals and universities such as the Bronze Lens Film Festival and Harvard University. Staged readings of her original one-act play and musical have taken place at such venues as The West End’s Her Majesty’s Theatre and Covent Garden’s Africa Centre in London. She performed her one-woman show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland and was a member of the Blacksmyths, a writing workshop at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. She has also recorded professionally as a vocalist with Grammy award-winning producer Dominick “Nottz” Lamb. Ms. Earl wrote the vocal arrangements and was the featured vocalist on the Outsider 4 Life single Who R U?, which was released globally on Blackground/Virgin Records.
Ms. Earl has several projects in various stages of development for film, television, streaming, education, theatre and gaming with her mentors and collaborators such as legendary producer and casting director, Reuben Cannon; music executive and visionary, Dr. Mathew Knowles; and entertainment industry mogul, Mr. Vassal Benford of The Benford Company. One of her most fulfilling activities involves serving on the Board of Directors for Aim4theHeart, a non-profit founded by Leila Steinberg, that teaches the importance of emotional awareness, self awareness, character development and critical thinking through the arts( https://www.aim4theheart.org).
Ms. Earl took an MFA from The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, an MA from Old Dominion University, with graduate credits in English Literature from a program held at St. Anne’s College, Oxford University, in Oxford, England. Ms. Earl took a BA in Rhetoric and Communication Studies from The University of Virginia.
